The last events of 2025 and ...

the 2026 training dates๐Ÿ“… !

I cannot believe we are fast approaching the end of the year! ๐ŸŽ…๐Ÿผ

After a lovely week off in Morocco I can finally share the new dates and locations for my 2026 trainings!

But before that I will be running a workshop on the 22nd of November with my trainer Kat Layfield French Classical Trainer (Legerete). This will take place near Uckfield, East Sussex.

Where are we since my speech and article about hyperflexion two years ago?

In this 4 hour workshop we will explore the physical and emotional impacts of correct and incorrect poll flexion on the horse, focusing on anatomy, biomechanics and training, from both an osteopath and a trainers perspective.

The weekend after I will attending and exhibiting at the Horsemanship Showcase for the second year in a row. The dates are 28th - 30th November and the locations is Bury Farm LU7 9BT. This is a very friendly event and I cannot wait to see friendly faces and meet new ones. Do not be shy, feel free to come and have a chat with me. My products will be displayed so I will be able to advise should you be interested for your horse or for a gift ๐ŸŽ.

Palpation, Testing and Joint Mobilisation

This one day CPD was a great experience this year so I am running it again in both North and South of England.

Before even talking about manipulation, being an therapist consists of knowing how to palpate an individual and thus detect all the elements of their organism which have lost their natural mobility.

There will be two dates:

COURSE DATE: 11th of April 2026 โ€“ COURSE LOCATION: Toad Hall Farm, Uckfield, TN22 3QT, United Kingdom

COURSE DATE: 25th of April 2026 โ€“ COURSE LOCATION: MK16 8QZ

Testing the neck according its natural biomechanics

๐ŸŒ€ And the new one will be NEURODYNAMIC TECHNIQUES for horses. ๐ŸŒ€

All originated from the very popular stretching for horses I have always questioned. With the practice of these stretching we focus on muscles. But are they the only structures involved? What about nerves, nervous system and the pain parameter?

So, I reflected a lot, thought about my osteopathic techniques I use on daily basis and started a lot of research in both human and equine literature. Then, the inspiration came and I started my content.

Ove the course of those two dates I am taking you through all the parameters we need to take into consideration when we address pain from a neurologic perspective. What are the red flags. What trigger and soothe the pain? We will spend time talking about anatomy of the nervous system, its dysfunctions and obviously how to treat these.

These stretching are widely recommended during rehab plans, but are they truly beneficial?

My role is to teach you the techniques best suited to the practical cases you will encounter in order to best support them in their rehabilitation phase whether there was a surgery or not by proposing a treatment plan that is adapted and respectful of the horse's physical and emotional integrity.
